A team of Peace Winds doctors, nurses, and other disaster experts is on the ground in Venezuela after two powerful earthquakes struck on June 24, 2026. The team has extensive experience in responding to earthquakes, and they are working with local partners to deliver emergency relief supplies to evacuation shelters and encampments in Caracas. Our medical staff are also providing emergency medical support for local health facilities and workers.
