Video: Emergency Aid for Nepal’s Hardest-Hit Communities

After flash floods devastated Himalayan valley communities in Nepal on August 26, Peace Winds nurses and disaster responders have been working with local partners to provide emergency supplies, medical support, and other emergency aid. They are focusing on aid for remote and isolated communities, which are not receiving nearly enough support due to extensive road and infrastructure damage.

In the video above, our team travels to Devighat, a small town about three hours outside of Kathmandu that was hit extremely hard. They will continue to monitor these areas to ensure that the aid we provide matches what survivors really need.

September donations to our Project of the Month Club will support the response in Nepal. You can also donate just this once–any amount makes a difference. Thank you so much for all of your support.
