Disaster Response in Taiwan

Timeframe: Present

Following the magnitude 7.4 earthquake that struck Taiwan on April 3, 2024, a Peace Winds team is on the ground now responding to the disaster. They are working closely with our local Taiwanese partner, a medical disaster response team, to begin relief efforts. Peace Winds is accepting donations which will be used for emergency provision of food, water, medical supplies, and hygiene products, as well as shelter support and other relief activities.

If you would like to contribute, please visit our donation page here.

Please be sure to select “Taiwan Earthquake” in the dropdown menu. Donations will be made to Peace Winds America, a US-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works in partnership with Peace Winds Japan and Peace Winds Korea.

Organizations and individuals inside Japan can also donate via Peace Winds Japan’s Readyfor page  (Japanese only).
