Video Update: Peace Winds’ Recovery Work After Japan’s Noto Earthquake
August 28, 2024
After the New Year’s Day earthquake that struck Japan’s Noto Peninsula, Peace Winds’ emergency disaster response team, ARROWS, jumped into action to carry out search-and-rescue efforts, medical care, and distribution of food and supplies. Our teams are now based out of Suzu City and continue to lead recovery efforts on the eastern side of the peninsula. Check out the video below to learn more.
New donations to this program will support ongoing recovery activities. If you would like to make a donation, please visit our GlobalGiving page here. Thank you to everyone who has already donated to make this work possible.
