Disaster Response in Taiwan

Timeframe: Present

In response to the magnitude 7.4 earthquake that struck Taiwan on April 3, 2024, Peace Winds responded by working with local partners to provide emergency relief, including the distribution of food, water, and emergency supplies. To aid recovery, Peace Winds has also provided long-term food support, helped revitalize local businesses, and conducted disaster readiness drills at elementary schools to help students prepare for future disasters.
