More than two weeks after Venezuela was devastated by two major earthquakes, many people are still searching for missing loved ones.
Peace Winds medical and disaster workers remain on the ground supporting relief in Caracas and neighboring La Guaira. Dr. Mototaka Inaba is one of the team members caring for injured survivors from the field clinic. He reports to NHK World Japan that for some people who have lost loved ones, the grief has been so strong that they don’t realize they have broken bones until they get an exam.
