Peace Winds Responds in Sierra Leone

On 14 August 2017, torrential rains hit the capital city of Freetown, Sierra Leone.  The resulting mudslides and floods killed over 500 people, with hundreds more still missing.   The victims continue to face difficulties, living in severely damaged and collapsed houses with no water supply.   Peace Winds Japan and CEDA-SL, one of PWJ’s local NGO partners, are distributing relief supplies.   Peace Winds appreciates the financial support of Japan Platform and Peace Winds individual donors.
